The clear 4-1/2 in. digital liquid crystal display makes reading easy, even in direct sunlight. The infrared beam is not affected by ambient light, thus ensuring accurate readings.

Simply place a piece of the reflective tape (included) on the fan or other location to be measured, point the instrument, press the On switch until the green "On Target" light appears and the instrument will automatically display the RPM.
