The ASE test questions, written by ASE certified experts trained in all aspects of school bus repair, are entirely job-related and school bus specific. Each and every test question written by one of these experts must pass review by all members of the workshop group. The questions are designed to expose practical problems of diagnosis and repair encountered by technicians in their every-day work.  Next, all new questions are pre-tested and checked for quality on technicians all around the country. Only questions that deemed meet ASE standards of quality, relevance and accuracy are included in the applicants scored results after the test is taken.  Qustions that do not meet minimum ASE standards are redesigned or discarded.
