Note: Special automatic Transmission Fluid is required. Only use MOPAR® AS68RC ATF fluid.

The AS68RC is a longitudinal six speed automatic transmission built for heavy duty automotive gas and diesel applications such as the 2007 Dodge Ram 3500/4500/5500 Cab Chassis. Improvements include a new gear-train, multi-disk lock-up clutch, increased breaking performance, higher torque rating, smoother shift quality and lighter weight. This transmission can be identified by casting numbers on the top of the transmission near the bell housing.
