The Torq Shift transmission is a 6 speed fully computer controlled transmission. Externally, it looks like the E40D and internally they stack up much the same, however, no parts interchange between the two units. Many changes have been made to the planetary gear sets for increased durability in the 2005 version. You can refer to the Parts Updates section for "how to's" on parts interchange.
