It weighs 8.9 pounds and that is only 4.8 ounces more than the 18-Volt Express®. To create the battery technology for the 36-Volt platform, our supplier used Lithium-ion batteries that incorporate nanoscale technology developed at, and exclusively licensed, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
