The Sabre™ features a quick-change design that allows you to remove the old blade and put in a new one in ten seconds. The unique design has a steel pin that holds the blade in place. Many tools of this type have a wide area where the blade locks in. Sabre™ has a width of only 1/8". This allows it to fit easily into any area below the dash. The handle is long enough to accommodate both hands for a firm cutting grip. Total length of the tool is 20" with the blade installed. Comes with one standard utility knife blade. Uses all standard utility knife blades and our ULB582 extra long utility knife blades. One important thing. You must cut forward then lift Sabre™ up so the blade clears the urethane. If you drag Sabre™ backwards it can push the blade out of the tool. Made in USA.
