• The GM MDI Unit is a compact communication cable / module that manages the transfer of data between a vehicle’s onboard ECU and a PC. 
   
• Here's how it works:  A desired GM calibration is downloaded to your PC from the AC-Delco website utilizing the TIS/SPS annual subscription (included). The GM Tech-2 Software (not included) loaded on your PC manages the transfer of the calibration to the vehicle's ECU.  After the MDI cable is connected between the PC and the OBD2 connector, the calibration is downloaded from the PC to the vehicle's ECU through the MDI cable. 
   

• With your included TiS SPS subscription you can always access the most current General Motors vehicle control module calibrations.
   

• The GM MDI Programming Solution Bundle allows the user to perform Pass-Thru programming procedures using software running on a laptop or desktop PC.
